Peter Dreier

Peter Dreier is the E.P. Clapp Distinguished Professor of Politics at Occidental College. He writes about politics, urban policy, and sports for the Los Angeles Times, Washington Post and New York Times op-ed pages, The Nation, American Prospect, and other publications. Peter is the author of seven books. His two most recent books, published in 2022, are Baseball Rebels: The Players, People, and Social Movements That Shook Up the Game and Changed America and Major League Rebels: Baseball Battles Over Workers’ Rights and American Empire.
