Ethan Ward (he/him) is a journalist, speaker and podcaster whose mission is to inspire people to see the beauty in themselves, in others and the world. Ethan isn’t afraid to have honest, thought provoking conversations that celebrate diverse, unapologetic and bold voices on a range of social issues. His storytelling has been published with USA Today, LAist 89.3 and Capital & Main, among others.
Ethan holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Southern California. He is grateful for storytelling opportunities that center people’s humanity and create impact. Ethan’s reporting on the number of unhoused people who died in 2020 was recognized with an L.A. Press Club award. His story on unhoused people using buckets to defecate appeared on HBO’s “Last Week Tonight” with John Oliver.
Ethan hails from Washington, D.C. and Prince George’s County, Maryland. As a graduating senior in high school, he won the award for ‘Biggest Mouth’ from his peers. Ethan is based in Los Angeles where he continues to do lots of talking.
